I offer your dog the delight of a vigorous mid-day walk, as well as positive reinforcement training. If your dog needs mid-day medications, assistance with post- operative home care, I am delighted to assist you with implementing the care plan prescribed by your Veterinarian. And finally, I offer your dog acupressure massage therapy. Dogs love the benefit of calming muscle relaxation as it restores stiff or aching neck, back and limb muscles. I have loved dogs my entire life. I am confident your dog and I truly enjoy each other's company. What I enjoy most about the care I give to dogs is the connection and trust that dogs and I develop together. I love to give them the fun of exploring and exercising in the fresh air. I love training new puppies and older dogs in the art of sit, stay, down, come, "drop it" as well curbing difficult behaviors. Medically, it means the world to me to have the training, skill and experience to alleviate your dog's suffering through acupressure massage as well as supportive nursing care. Nancy has a wonderful way with dogs. She is very knowledgeable about their training and the various ways to achieve results calmly and in keeping with their age and breed. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet my client in person and meet their dog(s) to discuss their needs, schedule, and to answer any questions my client may have for me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My graduate degree from Harvard Divinity School focused on hospice care. My love for humanity while caring for people in hospitals and in hospice care enabled my desire to care for animals as well. My training to become a Veterinary Technician was provided by Banfield. I have worked in shock trauma, ICU, general medicine, and pet hospice care.
