Stephanie is very welcoming and comfortable. She is very encouraging and helpful when it comes to tips and tricks to help you improve and become more confident. She customizes her lesson to fit to your voice and how to better improve it. In my experience Stephanie has helped me be more open and comfortable with my voice. She has helped me reach new goals and be more confident using a broader vocal range.Mar 24, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pairing a voice teacher and student is like finding a pair of shoes that fits. Teaching and learning styles vary, as well as personalities, and so you may need to "try on" a few teachers to find the right fit. For this reason, I offer a $20 45-minute trial lesson so that we can meet and learn to know each other a little bit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our first lesson together is a trial lesson, significantly discounted, where I show you what a typical lesson with me would look like, and where we can decide if this indeed is a good fit. Each lesson will have elements of technique and learning songs, though we will talk about your hopes and goals to personalize our lessons together. We also discuss what length of time would suit you best (30, 45, or 60 minutes).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?B.A. Bible and Religion (Minors in Music; International Studies), Goshen College, 2012 M.M. Vocal Performance, Longy School of Music, 2016 Private studio, 2016-present LB Music School faculty, 2017-present
