About this pro
I called YardPanel to help me restore a section of my yard that had deteriorated. Jen had many helpful suggestions about perennials, groundcover, shrubs, and evergreens that would work in this space. She was very flexible and patient as I finally made decisions! She and her helper then delivered the different plants and put them in, all for a reasonable price. They are thriving!Aug 14, 2018
Had a great experience with Jen as I am learning more about gardening - she was fantasticJul 27, 2018Verified

Thank you so much for the opportunity to work in your garden!
We loved YardPanel! Best part was being able to work on the garden with my 6 year old daughter. We both learned so much! And now she helps me maintain the garden. Also, the maintenance has been easy, and now a month later, the flowers are in boom!Jul 9, 2018
YardPanel did a terrific job from design through delivery and installation. Everything is perfect!Aug 6, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For maintenance work, our fee is calculated based on an hourly rate. We usually can provide estimates based on client photos. For design-build projects, we start with a brief exploratory phone call (complimentary) to establish that we are a good fit for the client's needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our process is pretty simple. 1. A quick call or email about what the client needs. Usually we ask the client to text us a photo of the space. 2. Depending on what they need, we connect them with the gardener on our team who is the best fit. 3. The gardener works with the client to advise, design, purchase plants and install as needed. We also collaborate with each other on projects. For example, a gardener may be the main contact and pull in others with more expertise in fruit trees or vegetable gardens.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science as well as an MBA. Our company is very good at project management and communicating with our clients using technology. Every gardener on our team has been planting for many years. Collectively, we have decades of horticultural experience.
