- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Cool Tech has grown by taking care of our customers needs so well they feel good about recommending us to family, friends and neighbors. This, along with our modest but functional office/warehouse and other measures we take to keep our overhead down allows us to offer exceptional value and top quality. It is a win win situation. We take care of our customers and our customers referrals keep our advertising costs low so we can continue offering the best quality and an extraordinary value.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When we are called out to do a repair our tech will address the issue by evaluating the system to determine the problem and then advise the customer what options for repair there are and quote prices from a flat rate manual before proceeding with repairs. Our techs will always give a repair option if there is a good one. And will NEVER pressure a customer to do repairs or equipment replacement that are not needed or the customer does not want to do at that time. If system replacement is the best long term solution they will advise the customer from the least expensive option in a good, better , best format explaining the advantages of each. We routinely advise buying a lower cost system if it is the best value for the customers needs. NO high pressure tactics are used by this company!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Both co-owners of Cool Tech Mechanical have well over 30 & 40+ years experience and carry class A Mechanical licenses (The highest rating) with the state of Texas. The state requires annual continuing education to maintain those licenses as well as insurance coverage. Cool Tech represents many brands including Trane, Lennox, Amana, Rheem, Goodman and more. Each of these manufacturers require ongoing training on their product line in order for us to purchase install and warranty their product. Our techs go through continuing training on a regular bases and most on in varying stages of NATE certification and carry TDLR and EPA certifications.
