Thank you so much for your five star rating! I'm so happy that you are pleased with my services! It's been great walking Hamish. He's quite a little character and so much fun!
Being a recent transplant to WA., finding a dog walker/sitter was a priority and Lelia is the bomb! She is even winning over my girl schnauzer and her "what have you done for me lately" attitude.Oct 30, 2016VerifiedLelia B.'s reply
Rene, thank you so much for your kind words. It melts my heart that your three Schnauzers, (especially Irene), trust me and consider me family. The feeling is very mutual!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?MY SERVICE AREA INCLUDES ARLINGTON, MARYSVILLE AND STANWOOD. Below is basic pricing for the most commonly requested services. Pets' needs can vary and if more elaborate care is needed, prices will also vary a bit. Feel free to contact me for a more precise price quote. $20 per 1/2 hour Pet Care Visit (food, water, meds, any sort of clean up if needed) and, of course, playtime and affection. $20 Per ½ hour dog walk or excercise session. For no additional charge, while you’re on vacation or out of town on business, I am also happy to: • Take in your mail • Pick up newspapers from your driveway • Change the lighting in your home (to make it appear that someone is home). • Water a few indoor plants • Place/remove your trash cans from the curb A note about uncommon & unusual pets... I'm comfortable with caring for other animals such as reptiles, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, spiders, etc. Please keep in mind though, my insurance doesn't cover livestock. Since the care of unusual pets can vary so widely, you'd need to contact me to chat about your pets' needs in order for me to provide a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After the initial contact (via email, text message or phone call) where I get an idea of the customer's needs and their pets' needs, we'll arrange for a meet and greet. If the customer and I feel we will be a good fit, I have the customer sign my contract and I fill out the form with all my questions about their pets and what will be needed for each visit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am certified in CPR & First Aid for pets. Beyond that, I have more than thirty years of experience training dogs for the competition show ring, obedience trials, tracking and draft events. I've been pet sitting for about 6 years on a part time basis.
