FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, the wedding is $330 and the rehearsal is $100. Mileage above 60 miles round trip is $.50 per mile additional.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial meeting is free. By the time we meet, we've already exchanged emails and agreed upon the bare minimums of the service. The meeting is to let the couple get to know me, develop the ceremony, to offer pre-marital advice and counseling, to secure the date with a deposit and to sign an agreement. From then until the wedding date, we work back and forth through email to make sure the service is right. Details are usually sent via email, text or calls. If there seems to be a discordance, the phone is used immediately to make sure we're on the same page. Some weddings require an additional meeting for follow-up pre-marital counseling. The day of the wedding, I am there a half hour early, to make sure things are right. Depending on who is doing the planning, my job can be small or larger. I do what is needed to make sure everyone is comfortable and the wedding goes off without a hitch. Or rather, with a hitch. :-)
