- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients are encouraged to take a ranch tour so they can meet me, the horses, and see the facility. The ranch tour is a great way to ask me any questions, watch other students during a lesson, or watch me work with the students or training horses.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been riding and showing horses since I was 7 years old. My passion for riding, training, and instruction has been a part of my every day life. My stepdad has been training, instructing, and showing horses for over 40 years. Growing up in the horse industry, learning from my stepdad how to be a successful trainer and instructor also allowed me not only show my personal horses at Class A, Regional, and National Horse Shows, I was also given the opportunity show many clients horses at these shows also. Giving me the opportunity to show in a variety of disciplines. ( jumping, reining, hunters, western pleasure, trail, saddle seat, side saddle, and more) Along with learning from my stepdad, I was given many opportunities to learn and work with many trainers throughout Ca, allowing me to expand my knowledge and techniques for training horses and instructing students. I have a strong Equitation background, so I teach all of my students the importance of Equitation and how beneficial it is to the horse and rider team so the they can meet all of their horse riding goals. I also attend Shasta College in Northern Ca for Barn and Stable Management which opened many other doors in the horse industry, allowing me to Manage a Race Horse Barn in Redding Ca for multiple years.
