Introduction: I offer fine catering and private chef services for your special event or vacation. I am located in beautiful coastal North Carolina, perfect for your beach getaway. I bring professional restaurant quality with the warmth of home. I do estate management and vacation home setup / stocking for your stay. I also do menu planning, shopping, full-service breakfast, brunch, grab-and-go lunches, elaborate dinners, wine pairing, and mixology. I am a Le Cordon Bleu graduate (class of 2002). I am an award-winning classically trained chef with a nutrition background. I am well versed in California Cuisine, Italian, Mediterranean, Southern Comfort Foods, Vegetarian, Raw Gourmet, Paleo and Gluten-free. I have all the staff you need to make your even a success: Bartenders Valet/Drivers Security, Housekeeping. I am a seasoned wedding caterer; having catered over 200 weddings and counting. Tell me your vision and together we'll make it a reality. Aside from catering and event planning, I am available as a private chef by the hour or day. I love doing retreats and family reunions. I travel within a 100 mile radius of Wrightsville Beach, NC. I am very happy to work in South Carolina as well. 50% deposit required to reserve your date/s. References and online reviews provided. Chef Anna is an amazing Chef and culinary artist! She single handedly shopped, prepped, cooked and catered all of the meals for the ENTIRE WEEKEND of my 40th birthday celebration in the beautiful mountains of Celo, North Carolina! Together we collaborated to create the perfect menu including seasonal and locally sourced menu items for 3 daysâ worth of appetizers, cocktails and meals for all 20 of us. I was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism and timely communications as well as her thoughtful consideration in her preparations. We were also thrilled with her incredibly friendly and open personality as well as her attention to every last detail! Each meal was amazingly delicious, served on time and piping hot (or cold!) which allowed us to focus on spending time together as family and friends rather than cooking and cleaning! The 3 â 5 course meals were served both individually plated or individually ordered and buffet style!!!! Some in our party have serious allergies and special orders or alternatives were readily available upon request and she didnât even forget about a couple of finicky kiddos by preparing fresh homemade chicken strips and sides, special for them! Anna's ability to allow the spirit of her creations remain on your palate for days is pure talent and magic combined. I recently hired Anna Masteller to cater a corporate event for 200. We were very pleased with her level organization and the food was even better than expected. She wrote a custom cocktail menu which paired perfectly with the hors d'oeuvres we selected. We also hired a bartender and two servers through Anna, who were professional and polite. I will not hesitate to call upon her services again in the future.

I pride myself on being able to accommodate any taste and budget; from minimalist to opulent.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is an art and something I strive to be my best at each day. The most important form of communication I can do is in the form of listening. I want to hear from my client to understand their vision and what they wish to convey to their guests. Only then am I able to customize the perfect menu for the occasion. Once you choose me as your chef a deposit of 50% is payable to reserve the date. Once I have an understanding of your wishes, I make several sample menus for you to be inspired by. We then pair everything down, add wine/specialty cocktails, non-alc beverages as well as the perfect desserts to make your even a memorable one.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of The California Culinary Academy and have catered over 1000 events since becoming a chef in 2002.
