- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every person has a different way of taking in information in learning to dance. Sometimes the amount of nerves can weigh on a students learning ability, so if I am able to restore confidence in a student, that can make all the difference! My approach is to find what way works best for each unique individual.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up taking dance lessons in ballet, tap and jazz. I always had interest in hip hop dance as well. I think its important to educate yourself in as many forms of the craft as you can! The various techniques and styles can really have a great impact on your ability to pick up choreography and develop your own style. My parents owned a dance studio! I grew u in the business! I began teaching when I was still in high school.
