I've been taking voice lessons for a couple of months, and I'm very pleased with the improvements I've made under Andrew's instruction. He is a top-notch music teacher--good at honestly assessing my strengths and weaknesses, and skilled at demonstrating and helping me learn the specific exercises that will help me improve. He's also a master at adjusting his approach based on how well (or poorly) I'm responding to a particular exercise.
I am a lifelong music student (piano, music theory), but this is my first time taking voice. As a middle-aged adult who has never been a good singer, I was nervous about taking voice lessons; it was an enormous step out of my comfort zone! Andrew, however, has managed to make me feel very comfortable about taking lessons. He is both personable and professional, not to mention a talented musician and an excellent teacher. I honestly look forward to my voice lesson each week. I've recommended him to friends, and I'm happy to recommend him here!

My daughter sang under Andrew's direction with the Asheville Children's Community Chorus for several years. Andrew worked with each participant to grow within his/her own abilities. He is patient and stresses good technical form. And just as important, Andrew stress that each participant must take responsibility for being prepared and being a team player.

We have been receiving voice lessons from Ah Hah Productions and are extemely pleased with my daughter's vocal development. Her voice coach, who also happens to be the owner of Ah Hah Productions, is professional and fun! My daughter looks forward to her lesson each week. We highly recommend Ah Hah! My understand is that this company also does bookings for special events such as weddings. Communication with them is excellent and the quality of their teaching is outstanding.

I'm a total beginner when it comes to singing, I had no prior experience and after 4 lessons I've already noticed a huge improvement in my voice. Mr. Hiler has a logical approach to teaching which makes learning alot easier. Of all the instructors I got quotes from, Mr. Hiler stood out because he actually went to school to teach music. I would highly recommend him as an instructor.
