FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hope is to make professional DJ services affordable to anyone who may be interested. The price per hour goes down significantly as you get into more active hours worked as those hours are balanced out by the travel time and setup and breakdown. I may offer some extra discounts on case by case basis and will not be included in an auto-quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to piece together an idea of what a client wants their event to feel like. Is this a laid-back gathering of old-friends or a dance-party disguised as a wedding? I like to have them put together a list of must have and must-not have music. Then we'll have a phone call, to make sure the lists are thoroughly understood. This keeps them able to focus on having a good time instead of curating the playlist.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree in Audio Engineering and Music technology. 15+ years experience as a musician and instrumentalist.
