Rachel Pellow Photography
About this pro
Having Rachel photograph our wedding was an absolutely amazing experience. From the start, she was engaged, responsive, and super friendly. Rachel got beautiful up-close-and-personal shots without ever making us feel awkward (because she is so sweet and easy to be around), and she somehow managed to corral all our family members so she could get perfect posed family photos. She does it all! A real highlight of Rachel's work was that she provided us with several of her favorite photos almost immediately after our wedding. It was so exciting to get to see wedding pictures while we were on our honeymoon! I cannot recommend Rachel enough... for her artistic eye, her personality, and her follow through.Aug 16, 2017

Hi, Iolanda, Thanks for the review. I always send out a highlight set of 20-30 photos within 24 hours of a shoot so you can see right away how your session went. There is a 1-2 week turn around on the remainder of the photos so that you get the best quality in terms of touch up. You will get your remaining 80 photos on Friday.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I view every photo shoot as a collaboration. You are the story provider and I am the story teller. So I always start a project with a phone interview. This is my chance to get to know you. From there you can share your Pinterest board with me if you have one, and we will discuss your desires, expectations and possible limitations for your set of photography shoots. On the day of each shoot we sit down for a little "tea time" and we chat for a minute. This is our chance to connect and feel comfortable with each other before we jump into working together. Even in the huge rush of things that can develop at a wedding, a minute of talking with your photographer will make a world of difference.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been a photographer for 10 years, but I have been developing my talents as an artist my whole life. My work is grounded in traditional studio fine art. I took my first photography class in College, but I am proud to consider myself, self taught.
