Aneta was born to do hair and makeup. Ever since I was a kid I would ask her to do my makeup. When I grew up and it became time to go to prom, naturally I went to her for help. You see, I was a nerd. Round oval glasses, long hair, I just looked like the plainest jane ever. I told Aneta I wanted a 180 degree look. I wanted to shock everyone, especially those who have ever bullied or mocked me. Let me tell you how much I shocked everyone. It took five years for anyone to calm down about how gorgeous I looked that night. I'm not exaggerating. Friends, family friends, friends' parents, friends' parents' associates, I never heard the end of it. It was a mega huge boost to my ego, and what kick started my life into finding my identity further. Because of this new confidence boost, I learned to wear contacts taught by Aneta. I learned how to apply makeup, but I still suck at doing my own hair. That night was literally the start of everything for me. The confidence I needed, the recognition, I ended up learning more about myself. I took a serious interest in beauty, but especially my natural knack is my style. If it weren't for that one night, I don't know who I would be now. I'm confident, certain, stylish, a go-getter, I'm not quiet anymore. I've changed because of that one night and those compliments. They boosted my low self-esteem. I still wear glasses, from time to time, but now I look fabulous. Recently, I felt like my hair wasn't to my exact liking. For a long time I've had brown hair, and then brown hair with blond highlights, I also had a moment of dying butt-long hair back a few years ago teal. I first went to a hair salon to get the color I wanted, but they failed me, twice. By the third time, and there shouldn't have been a third time, Aneta and I decided to tackle it. Which is when I met Sarah. Sarah is a really awesome person. She's really friendly, and I could connect with her easily. Just imagine, having a hairstylist a fellow nerd can finally relate to! Trusting someone with my hair is not an easy task, like it isn't for many people. With Aneta and Sarah, you get two sides of the spectrum. But they work really well together. Any who, I have a guilty pleasure for magical girls. Therefore I wanted rose gold hair with more of a pink sheen to it. I wanted to be a magical girl, and that is exactly what I got. The best thing about it is, it's permanent. It won't fade. Third times the charm, but three times in one month is too many. Thank god for Vitamin E oil treatments. My hair doesn't feel like it's been dyed or bleached at all.
