FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer discounts to Seniors and Military personnel. We are fair priced and provide honest high quality work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed a 4 year apprenticeship to become a Journeyman Brickmason. In addition, I went to Vocational School for Brick Masonry. I was trained over a 2 year period from 1991-2003 as a Chimney Technician / Chimney Sweep with guidelines set by The National Chimney Sweep Guild and The Chimney Safety Institute of America. Over the last 25 years I have taken many classes to expand my knowledge and career. I've attended teaching seminars pertaining to product and installation of steel chimney liners, SIM Tech 1&2 which teaches technical training to troubleshoot and repair various gas fireplace units, NFPA code training, OSHA safety class, Technical Math, Blueprint reading, and various training seminars pertaining to custom design using Brick and Glass block.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was inspired by my Grandfather who was a Bricklayer his whole life and my Father owned a small Chimney Sweep & Repair Company when I was a child. I used to help him and was amazed how he can climb so high on a chimney. I eventually started working for a company while I was in College and have always enjoyed it.
