FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, I talk to each client to discuss needs, budget, length of service needed, and any special requests. No project will cost the same!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a child of the Internet age, I've lived on social media for most of my life and I've always been an early adopter of new social platforms. During the early days of MySpace, I saw how everyone had photos on their profiles. So I begged for a digital camera for my 12th birthday. That's how I was introduced to photography. I've taken those early experiences all the way to college where I study photojournalism and social media.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked for an array of clients. The beginning of my photography career started with senior portraits where I photographed students who could not care less about portraits all the way up to a mom and daughter who scoured Pinterest and had specific ideas in mind. I also work for Ohio University's Communication and Marketing department and cover award ceremonies, events, and take portraits for the various groups and colleges at the university. As far as social media goes, I manage the Instagram and social media channels for the editorially independent, student-run newspaper The Post, in Athens, Ohio.
