FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For both guitar and cello lessons, I will generally charge $30 for an hour of instruction. However, I am always willing to discuss rates to fit customer's specific needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically with a new student, I like to have an initial meeting to discuss rates and find out what type of music or styles of playing they are interested in learning. I then form a customized curriculum based on the student's learning style and goals as a musician.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught myself to play guitar for twelve years and was accepted to the Guitar and Recording Associates Degree Program at the Atlanta Institute of Music & Media. I played first chair cello in my middle school, high school and church orchestra programs. In these programs, I often helped my classmates and friends. I started teaching my first official lessons at the end of my senior year of high school and my current student has progressed exceptionally well from the basic things I have been able to show him in a short period of time.
