- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by assessing their skin and asking what is their skin type. From there I know which products to use to prep the skin and what foundation would be best for my client. I ask what type of look are they going for and what is the event they are going to. The process can take 45 minutes to an hour but I try to get done as quickly as possible. I connect with the client and make sure I do the makeup to her standards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self taught, YouTube, and working at MAC. Freelancing for MAC had really improved my skills because I am doing someone's makeup almost daily and I learn new techniques often from coworkers.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Women of all ages and races.
