Introduction: I am a saxophonist, composer, and music guide. I studied music and jazz at Clayton State University, as well as Georgia State University. I have been performing and teaching saxophone for several years.
I enjoy watching my students develop as musicians. Students will find that I'm just as excited to see them progress as they are! I encourage and motivate them to achieve the goals they have set, as well as give them the tools necessary to evaluate and exceed those goals. Students can expect to gain an appreciation for their personal growth and will enjoy the process as much as they will enjoy the end product.
My job is to be both a resource and guide throughout the student's process in learning saxophone. I will implement students with skills that will not only develop them as musicians but will develop them as individuals. Students will also discover that enjoying the process of learning music, including its successes and failures, is a trait that will help them succeed at any task!
