- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend some time speaking with potential clients to get a good picture of what their concerns are, and what their expectations are for training. Then I can give them options for private training or group sessions based on what will give them the best result. If there is a behavior issue that needs attention, I work with both the client and their veterinarian to rule out medical concerns before beginning any course of training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training since 1994. I hold certification from Animal Behavior College, and am currently studying to obtain additional certification in behavior modification. I have been mentored by trainers in almost every area of training and have a broad knowledge of both mechanical training, and behavior modification.
