I needed to redesign my logo for my freelance editing business. I came to Kathryn with an idea of what I wanted as well as showing her what I was currently using. After a short brainstorming session she came back to me with a design that incorporated exactly what I was looking for as well as matching my personality. I would highly recommend working with Kathryn for any of your graphic design needs.Sep 16, 2015

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have an in-depth conversation to start the project out. This lets the customer tell me in their own words what they're trying to achieve. I can then, in turn, ask them any pertinent questions regarding the project before I start. Phone, Skype, or Google Hangouts are my main methods of communication.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 18 years of graphic design, print production and illustration experience. I've worked in digital photo editing, graphic design and print production, comic book lettering and book cover design.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been drawing as long as I can remember, but in my late 20's, I realized I had a knack for working with design software. Like in chess, I can think several moves ahead when working on a project or art piece.
