- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
HOURLY CONSULTANT My “a la carte” service allows you to select the services you need, whether it's getting vendor recommendations or help set up the venue on the wedding day without the hassle of a lengthy contract. DAY OF COORDINATOR For those brides who want to do the planning on their own but need assistance on the day of the wedding, we offer day-of coordination. I will liaise directly with all of your vendors before the event and offer assistance and advice in the weeks leading up to your wedding. Six weeks in advance of the day of your wedding (or as soon as your vendors have all been officially contracted), we create a detailed timeline that maps out everything from when you are having your hair and makeup done to what time and how you are leaving your event. We leave no detail unaddressed and create the schedule to allow for you to enjoy the wedding. You will not be bombarded by questions, big or small because we will have provided everyone with the answers that they need in advance. FULL SERVICE Starting with the perfect vendors, we will work together from start to finish, ensuring that your special day is cohesive, personal and unique. Wedding planning in particular is a ton more involved than many people anticipate and this next year or so will also be more emotionally charged. Planning takes time and can also be confusing with so many options and not enough time to explore them all before the big day. If you want your wedding to be the best wedding you have ever attended, you want full planning. It is your insurance and also the best gift you can give yourselves during this important time! Full Service Wedding Planning + Design is recommended for the busy couple that does not have time to work full time and plan a wedding! With full service wedding planning and design, we will be there from your first purchase to when the last guest departs, to make sure it's the day you have always dreamed about. You get to enjoy all the fun aspects of planning your wedding, while avoiding the stress and anxiety that can occur. We start with getting to know you both, your styles, your likes, your favorite foods and colors and then work to pair you with our curated list of amazing vendors! We review and manage all contracts, setup all meetings, visits and tastings.

Hello! I'm Becky Shin, Owner and Creative Director of Portfolio Events. I graduated from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Events. I concentrated heavily on events and wedding planning. Ever since I was a little girl, it was my dream to work in this field, and today, I am proud to say that I have over 15 years of experience in the wedding planning industry. I was the Vice President of National Society of Minority in Hospitality and a member of the Professional Convention Management Association. While attending college I interned at a major Event Planning Company called Events Unwrapped based in Denver. One of my biggest accomplishments was being a coursed advisor for Wedding and Events at Fitzwilliam Institute in Melbourne, Australia. Not only did I plan events, I taught it to college students! While I was In Australia, I also got to participate in Australia’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the event which I was responsible for hosted over 50,000 people daily!
