Benny is a great guy and a great puppy sitter! I have an 8yr old Shih-Tzu that has never been away from us but a last minute trip forced us to find her a sitter. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My pricing is based really on several factors. What the customer is looking for care-wise, the distance a customer’s home is away from me, whether the customer wants boarding/ any overnights, etc. I also take into consideration any financial needs/budgets that the customer might have and go from there. My goal is to make sure it’s doable and fair for both the customer and me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I usually ask many questions to start just so I can get to know the customer and their pet’s needs. I always always like to set-up meet and greets with new customers as well, just so they and their pet/pets can get to know me in-person before I do any work with them!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have at least 5 years of experience starting with working for family and neighbors. I was originally working on and off with pet-sitting and now within the past year after having started on Rover.com, I have become more professional and more consistent with my services. I now have at least 5 customers I work with on a regular basis. So, most of my training just comes with experience.
