We needed to develop a website for our new radio station, and needed to do so quickly. In mere weeks we worked with Elon & Co and successfully launched kutx.org. We had the benefit of working side-by-side with their team as well as useful, sometimes spontaneous, virtual sessions. They were accommodating to the whims of feature creep and held to our style guide to keep us in line, incorporating our branding and the vibe we tried to articulate verbally. Working through comps is not always easy, but their openness and being receptive to feedback--even during actual development--made the process smooth. We continued to work with E&Co to advance our offerings even after the initial project was completed to spec.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
The Company started in Austin, TX in the apartment of Elon Mitchell and Terry Pierre in March 2012. Elon Mitchell, a visionary, who at the time work at Time Warner Cable and Terry Pierre a marketing Guru working for a slew of Fortune 500 companies to form the core of Elon and Company. From there Elon & Company has grown to a 9 person top talent machine with the mission of helping businesses, both small & large achieve their web & revenue needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently finished a comprehensive audio player and news site for KUTX Radio (kutx.org), a premiere radio station here in Austin TX. The website was innovative and functionality rich. We loved working on this project because we were able to expand beyond our normal development projects (though we LOVE our normal dev projects). This project took 8 months from consultation to close. We pitched them on 11 months, so finished the project 3 months early! (Please keep in mind that it does not take this long for normal size project, KUTX needed very rare functionality).
