- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For sketches/concepts/samples I charge $25 per hour. Depending on the size,specifications this usually works out to be between 2- 7 hours. The overall price of the finalized artwork is dependent on the size, detail (I.e. Line drawing or painted), and usage by the customer. You will receive a quote should you choose to move forward so there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are plenty of ways to go about a new project. Typically my workflow is similar to this: - Meet client and establish a brief list of requirements (incl. sketches you may have, subject , nature of the business, customer type, style type, etc) - Then I will provide a few sample ideas as well as a quote for the finalized version for a non refundable fee of $25 per hour of time spent on the sketches - if you decide you would like to move forward, I will detail and finalize your favorite sketch. Depending on the assignment, I will either provide a hi-res digital scan of the work or mail the original to your address once the final payment for the art is paid in full! - All that's left is to enjoy!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an illustrator for several years and have provided work for the Talent Lab, Hope Film Fest and Brighton Collectables as well as several commissioned portraits (people and animals!).
