Christina Comley's Drum Lessons

Introduction: Christina Comley is a drummer who is based in Austin, TX. She graduated from Musicians Institute in March of 2012 with her associate's degree in drum performance and received the "Most Improved" award. While attending Musicians Institute, she was shaped stylistically in the forms of rock, country, Latin, pop, jazz, blues, hand technique, charting and reading, as well as piano, music theory and ear training. She currently performs with Kathy Valentine and the Bluebonnets (former bassist for the Go-Gos), and before that, she was with the dynamic Texas soul and funk band, Roxy Roca, where she had the opportunity to open for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Ludacris at Bayfest in Alabama. The band had many tours, a new video, and recorded a Christmas single. Since being in Austin, she has been playing at venues like the original Austin City Limits, The Continental Club, Threadgills, The Austin Rodeo, the Poteet Strawberry Festival, Maggie Maes, Clear Channel, Mowhawk, 6th Street, as well as Balcony TV and many others. She has also recorded with various artists.
