Kat is great! Very warm and friendly. Although I did not need her services for long (due to a change in schedule), she is my go-to for future dog walking needs. Pros: Very genuine and friendly Great with dogs Little things like sending texts with pics and bringing my trash can up from the curb without me asking Great prices Cons: Could be too casual for some clients (I personally like it but if you're looking for a sleek polished business this is not it) Some miscommunication on how to handle our locks (to be fair, ours are complicated) so be sure to be extra specificMay 2, 2017Verified
She's been the best dog sitter we've ever had. She is super knowledgeable and loving towards our dog, Lily. We will continue to go to her for all of our pet sitting needs.Nov 12, 2016Verified
Good communication leading up to walking my dog - Kat really helped me feel at ease, comfortable and even excited for them to hang out. I loved getting photos of my pup after their time together, and I'm looking forward to their next session.Aug 23, 2016Verified
Kat was so patient and kind. Our furbaby is very fearful and we were so nervous having someone else walk her while we aren't around, but Kat was more than helpful and understanding. Highly recommended!Aug 14, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love meeting new clients and prefer to do an in-person meeting free of charge where I come to the client's home to meet them and their pets. From there I take notes on important information and get to know what the best services are for them so that I can customize my visits to best suit their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked with animals in many capacities: as a pet sitter, dog walker, kennel tech and a vet tech. I also take online animal behavior courses through Holly & Hugo to enhance my training and knowledge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I got started dog walking and pet sitting in 2008 when I was getting my masters degree and it has been my favorite job ever since then! I used to work behind a desk in corporate Manhattan but decided to follow my heart and work with animals.
