FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can put together a package for an established small business who needs regular monthly accounting and financial analysis work performed. But, more often I just charge an hourly rate for the time I spend on the client engagement. This is more standard for professional service providers, and I think more fair for what I do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a phone call, as an efficient way to determine whether the client and I are a good match. After the call, I like to meet face to face, and I am mobile to clients, so I meet wherever and whenever they choose. After we've talked and met, a lot of my client work can be done effectively and inexpensively by email, text and phone. I try to make it as easy as possible for clients to work with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Twenty-five years of finance and accounting experience, a CPA and an MBA, so basically all of the education and/or training my clients could ever need.
