Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hi, I’m Roxanne. Telling your story is my passion. Some people tell stories with words. I tell stories with pictures. I’ve honed my craft for a couple decades, and clients can be confident in both my mastery of technical skills and my ability to connect with my subjects on a personal level. It’s that mix of the technical details and the human element that makes photography so fulfilling. One of the keys to excellent photography is preparation. I make sure we’re on the same page about the story we’re telling. When you work with me, you can expect meticulous planning long before the actual shoot. I take the time to familiarize myself with the physical space and with you — both what you tell me and what you express nonverbally. Together we build a plan through detailed communication, and we continue that collaboration through every step of the shoot. It’s a fun and inventive process, and I enjoy watching our shared vision become a tangible reality. Compassion and empathy have as much a place on a set as lights and cameras. I know that being the subject of a photo shoot can be a vulnerable feeling, and I’m sensitive to that vulnerability. I take the time to earn my subjects’ trust, explaining what I’m doing every step of the way. And I’m not afraid to poke a little fun at myself if it makes you feel more at ease. My clients can expect a photographer who’s professional, methodical, flexible, and unflappable. Someone who’s cheerful, direct, and imaginative. In describing my photography, I think of words like clean, crisp, light, and weightless. Clients appreciate my can-do attitude. Give me any conditions and I can make it work. Every time. I’m passionate about community, fitness, nutrition, and justice — social, economic, and environmental. (You can be an environmentalist and still eat bacon!) I especially love combining my passion for photography with these other passions – telling the stories of people, businesses, and institutions working toward justice. My favorite projects involve tasty food, beautiful architecture, and smiling faces. I look forward to working with you and telling your story. I love showing my clients the best version of who they are.

Roxanne is fantastic. I am a professional muralist and have hired Roxanne to photograph mural work and other rooms in my home and a client of mine. Roxanne's photographs are stunning. Her photography got my home in an Apartment Therapy feature. I also hired Roxanne to do product photography for me which helped me launch a furniture business and sell many of my products online. Roxanne has also take. Photos of the kids at my son's preschool. They are absolutely amazing and I treasure these photos more than any others of my child from his preschool days. Roxanne also took portraits of me that have been included in a fine art show. Not only are the photos amazing, but the experience in the studio was incredible. Roxanne is both professional and fun to be around.
