We absolutely love Jay!!Apr 5, 2018Verified
This is an amazing business. Chris listens carefully to both parents and the students, taking extra care to understand learning styles, family dynamics, and student challenges. He spent so much time making sure we will were comfortable with him during the consultation and the matched us with a dynamite, energized, gifted tutor. I also appreciate how insightful Chris' about the best studying environments for students. Our daughter's confidence and ease with math is definitely trending upward. Thank you Chris and Kevin!Feb 19, 2018Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our work starts as soon as you call us. We take the initial phone call seriously, as it really helps in the decision to match a particular tutor to your student. In general, we make sure to select a tutor whose tutoring style is a match, rather than go strictly by that tutor's resume.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Planting Seeds Tutoring favors hiring fully-credentialed teachers with anywhere from 3 to 5 years of verifiable classroom experience and college students and recent graduates who are currently enrolled in those classes and have hands on experience.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Planting Seeds Tutoring improves students' grades in core classes, as well as provides instruction for high-stakes college admissions tests. In addition, we've worked with all grades (Kindergarten to 12th, undergraduate students, graduate students...) and all educational situations: last-minute test prep, adult students going back to school, and of course, traditional k-12 students.
