Yoga Giocosa || Voice and Piano Lessons

Introduction: Beyond my yoga teaching, I am also a professional classical singer, and I particularly like working with performers and artists of all types. I also trained as a ballet and flamenco dancer when I was young, and I enjoy helping incorporate yoga as a form of cross-training to different types of athletes. Yoga has been such a wonderful addition to my life, helping me achieve a sense of inner calm, mental discipline, self-compassion, and focus, in addition to the fantastic physical benefits of increased strength and flexibility. After being a practitioner for twelve years, it seemed only natural to get my teaching certification, and help bring the benefits that I have received to others. As a musician, I have two Masters and a Bachelors. I studied at the University of Chicago and Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. I have studied voice for 18 years and piano for 13. I also played violin for 10 years. I perform regularly as a professional in the Austin area and love to teach.
