- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our grooming prices are dependent on a number of factors, including the pet's size and coat type, coat condition, behavior, and the desired services. We will always discuss your preferences and your pet's needs and give you a price for everything before we get started so that you know exactly what we will be doing and how much it will cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our number one goal is to have pets leave us happier and better groomed than when they walked in. We like to talk to each customer to find out their goals for the grooming, the pet's experience being groomed, and anything else that can help us make it a positive experience for the pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nancy, the owner, attended the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology and has over a decade of experience grooming and a lifetime of experience working with animals. Nancy is also certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid & CPR. Cherie attended the PetSmart grooming academy 10 years ago and has worked in a variety of grooming shops in the Austin area. Both regularly attend continuing education seminars to keep up to date on the latest in grooming and pet care techniques. Our bather and assistant groomer, Olivia, is certified by the Pet Health Academy in Pet CPR and First Aid. Safety is always our number one concern!
