FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the potential client, to discuss their project and see if we are a fit. This is a good time to ask each other questions and get an idea of how we will work together. Design is personal, for both the client and the designer. A good working relationship is essential for a great outcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, concentration in fashion design. My career started as a clothing buyer, however I quickly transitioned into Interior Design. I have worked with Custom Home Developers and Warner Interiors. I am experienced in both residential and commercial projects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I managed an electrical wholesale/retail lighting business. One aspect of my job, which I really enjoyed, was to meet with exclusive custom builders and do their lighting layouts and selections. That experience lead me down the road to Interior Design.
