Introduction: Ashley's Academic Services LLC, is a tutoring service that helps enhance the education of children grades K-12. We particularly focus on grades one through eight. We are fully committed to assure learning experiences that will assist students to achieve their greatest potential to adapt and adjust to a diverse and ever changing society. In addition, Ashley's Academic Services is also committed to building strong relationships with children. The belief is by creating strong bonds, strong and positive influences are made in every aspect of the student's lives. This helps them excel beyond the classroom environment. Our goal is to create a warm, open environment where students feel safe enough to ask questions, explore and seek answers. We challenge every student to surpass his or her own personal best and help them over the hills and through the valleys of these growing years. Ashley's Academic Services is particularly proud of its diversity and takes every opportunity to celebrate those characteristics that make us different. We welcome all who come through our door. Ashley's Academic Services provided exceptional services for my son who was having an issue with reading. In fact, I learned that he actually read above grade level but he gets anxiety when he takes test. My 10 year old little cousin, Malachi participated in Ashley's Academic Services summer enrichment Camp . The summer experience kept his mind active, and helped prepare him to enter the next grade at a new school; and he really enjoyed it! Pricing for our services are as follows : Tutoring on site $30 per hour (K-12) Virtual Tutoring $35 per hour (K-12) After School Homework Clubhouse $80 per week Tutoring Consultation $25 flat rate (on site tutoring) (K-12) Virtual Tutoring Consultation $30 flat rate. (K-12) Adult Tutoring on site $40 per hour Adult Virtual Tutoring $45 per hour Adult Consultation on site flat rate $35 Adult Virtual Consultation flate rate $40 $25 Cancellation Fee *Must pay for consultation before appointment. This secures your appointment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When acquiring a new customer we first do tutoring consultation. This consultation is required to help the tutor understand the learning style of the student, the subject that needs to be targeted, strengths and weaknesses, and helps the parent or the adult learner understand how often tutoring is needed. We stress that all appointments are kept for the consultation is vital to improving the quality of the student's education.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in Hospitality Management and a Masters of Science degree from Neumann University in Organizational and Strategic Leadership. In addition, I am considering pursuing my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
