FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to be straight forward about pricing. For my undivided attention in providing instruction and/or helping you with your project, I charge $50 per hour. Discounts can be arranged for blocks of time over 5 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just a simple email or phone conversation regarding their creative vision, background, goals, etc. I know very well that the creative process is a personal one, so I take great care to learn as much as I can about the person and what they're about. From there we can figure out the first optimal steps to take.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been self taught since 2001, with Ableton Live v 1.0 - and since then have had 17 years of daily music production experience with varying hardware and software. I've released 4 full length albums, a variety of EP's and singles on globally acclaimed labels, completed 5 national and international tours, performed at over 600 shows, including clubs, festivals and a variety of other gatherings. I've also done original sound design work, for a variety of clients including 2cAudio, Image Comics, HP, etc. Over the years I've worked with a variety of collaborators throughout genres as diverse as house, drum n bass, idm, hip hop, metal, industrial, ambient, future garage, techno/house, downtempo, opera, film scoring and many more. I have also been trained and certified as a Kaizen Muse Creativity Coach, with the Kaizen Muse Institute in California.
