To put it simply, I would not be the musician I am today without Max. He is an incredible instrumentalist, audio engineer, and teacher. I have learned so much about music theory, performance, recording and producing, and everything in between. Multiple times he helped me take a song from an idea to a finished product, teaching me the process throughout. I would recommend Max to anyone who wants to dive deeper into the world of music in whatever way you want, as he is fully prepared and more than qualified to teach you.Feb 8, 2018
Great teacher who pushed me and helped me become the musician I am. Couldn’t have done it without him.Feb 7, 2018
Max Kuzmyak is a very knowledgeable musician with a large skill set that is useful in the music industry. He can teach trumpet, guitar, voice, and has extensive theory knowledge as well. He is also well versed in recording and audio engineering. Max is very friendly, easy to work with, and professional. I would highly recommend working with him if you are looking for a private teacher, or a recorder.Feb 7, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All private music lessons are priced as follows: $40/30 minutes $50/45 minutes $60/60 minutes All lessons take place at my home studio in Hampden, Baltimore and are paid in full at the beginning of the month. Recording project rates are quoted on a case-by-case basis and vary with the complexity of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love meeting and working with new people! For music lessons, I advise booking a month to give it a serious try (although we'll make progress in the first lesson). I also strongly recommend booking 60 minute lessons and I've set my rates to incentivize this. The first lesson is usually spent getting to know each other personally and musically, and discussing goals. For recording clients, every session is different, but I'm here to help and to make the sessions as rewarding and relaxed as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a BA in Vocal Performance and have been performing and recording since childhood. I've been teaching privately for over a decade.
