Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I believe your health is within your own control. I am the physician that teaches you to prevent pain, not only treat it. By learning simple exercises to do at home, on your own time, you can stop the codependence on chiropractic and medical doctor visits. I look at your holistic health by incorporating nutritional counseling and relaxation techniques (like massage and yoga). I love hearing about how my patients have shared their home exercise programs with their friends and relatives and how simple it was to help treat their pain. It motivates me to educate my community on lifestyle choices including diet, physical activity, and self-empowerment, so we can all help our loved ones live longer, healthier lives.

After knee surgery and 3 months of traditional "big store" physical therapy, I was still not able to get back to my martial arts training because of pain, flexibility, and weakness. I was recommended to Dr. Cherner at Smart Spine and Rehab, and I couldn't be happier. We found that I had hip mobility issues and core/abdominal/trunk instability issues that were contributing to my knee issues and were not allowing me to use my knee properly, thereby not allowing it to really heal post surgery. With some creative exercises, I was able to get back to my activity. I especially appreciate that they worked around my crazy work schedule, even making house calls and meeting at my gym for a couple therapy sessions. I can't recommend her enough; you won't know what you're missing until you try it!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I offer a free 10 minute phone consultation if a potential customer has a question before our first session to decide if they prefer coming to my office or to have me do a house visit. After we decide what works best, we schedule an appointment, and go from there!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a bachelors degree in psychology and a doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine. My chiropractic education included nutritional biochemistry, physical therapy, corrective exercise, acupuncture, and other holistic wellness modalities. I have studied with the Prague School of Rehabilition, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, as well as the Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy of Robin McKenzie with the McKenzie Institute.
