Jessica is a great group fitness instructor. Her kick boxing class is one of my favorites. She always does new things and is very helpful with teaching how to do everything. She plays great music and always makes your workout fun! You can tell she is passionate about her job!

Jess is an amazing trainer! I've never left a workout with her or feeling exhausted. She works every muscle group and incorporates intensity training to workouts which kill my body in a shorter period of time. She's fun, outgoing and knows what she is doing!

I've met a lot of personal trainers that just go through the motions to collect a paycheck. Jessica on the other hand is not one of those trainers. She cares about each individual and wants nothing more then to help them achieve there fitness goals. Her classes are very motivating, challenging but yet very rewarding. I would highly recommend trying one of her personal training sessions or group classes you will not be disappointed. Mike

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I said goodbye to the cubical life and hello to finally pursuing my career where my passion lies in the fitness industry full-time, and I couldn’t be happier. I worked out of a cubicle day in, day out for a family-owned electric company for about five and a half years. I met some life-long friends and learned a lot about the industry, but it just wasn’t for me. I learned that I was not passionate about my job, which ultimately left me unhappy. I was always told to find passion in what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life. I always found myself spending all my time either wanting to be in the gym or wanting to help others reach their fitness goals. I started working as a group fitness instructor part-time after a full day of being at the office. It never really felt like a “second” job for me. Being able to motivate people and hear how I have helped them meet their goals was the most amazing feeling. That’s when I decided to take things to the next level and get certified as a Personal Trainer. I did a 12-week internship at a prestigious gym in downtown Chicago and now have the pleasure of doing what I love at The Endorphin Effect. I could not be more satisfied with what I do for a living. I want all of my clients to be successful, happy, and confident in themselves, just as I learned to be. My ultimate goal everyday is to help coach my clients that fitness is not just temporary, it’s a lifestyle change, little by little – striving for a long and healthy life, not just a hot body! “The magic happens outside of your comfort zone.”
