- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't want you to pay any more for your project than you budget for it! I try to minimize surprises so most jobs I do are priced by project, in advance. If your project is clearly defined on Thumbtack, I will provide an initial estimate and then give you a finalized estimate after we discuss the details over the phone or in person. Discounted hourly rates are also available on retainer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is really important that I have a clear idea of what you need and what's involved in doing a great job for you. So the first thing is to talk – either in person, or over the phone – about your project. I will complete a project brief with the project details to make sure I understand what you are trying to achieve. Next, I will provide you with an estimate that includes the price, timeframe, and payment plan for your project. I will ask for a project deposit to get started. I really enjoy collaborating with my clients, and think that you know the most about what your are trying to achieve. So I collaborate with you every step of the way!
