FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing works in two main forms and is determined based on customer needs. Time & Material - charged a set hourly rate for all labor along with the costs of materials. An example of when we do this would be for service calls, smaller spot jobs, etc. Our current rates are $90 for the first hour, and $60 each additional hour. Overtime of 1.5 times the normal rate after 9pm. Fixed Bid - a set price is established for all work and materials. This is ideal for larger projects. I usually ask for a down payment of 30% at contract signing for jobs valued at $2000 or more.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer experience is important to me. Being communicative, punctual, and responsive is key throughout any process from beginning to end. I want to make sure I have a clear picture of what my clients want before beginning any work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional full time facilities maintenance supervisor for over 10 years, and have run large multi-million dollar renovation projects.
