Introduction: I help leaders define goals and design action. Personal leadership coaching is a great tool for helping people, like you, to connect or reconnect with life's passion, navigate crucial conversations, discover clarity in decision making, and redefine identity and purpose during life transitions.
As an ordained minister, I coach from a distinctly Christian world view. While I am ethically conscious to not push my views on any client (religious or otherwise), this does put me in a position to better understand where my Christian clients are coming from.
In addition to coaching individuals and teams, I also offer coach training classes that are approved by the International Coach Federation. Are you looking to develop coaching skills for yourself or within your organization? I can come to you or you can sign up for an online class.
I am always excited when I see individuals or teams have an "ah-ha" moment, where they gain clarity or insight into whatever is holding them back. Helping people move from "stuck" to "unstuck" is a highly rewarding opportunity for me, and I am thankful to be a part of their journey forward.

I work for a 501(3)(c) that connected me to Amy at the beginning of my employment with the non-profit. Her input and coaching have been incredibly valuable to me. Originally I didn't know how I felt about our different personalities (Amy is incredibly positive, while I am not), but I quickly came to value how she can look at situations from different perspectives.
It is empowering to have a coach. She has always been professional, yet warm and personable. I almost always finish out my coaching sessions with new insight into a problem or barrier that I am experiencing with my work. Amy helps me work through a problem in an hour that might take me months to resolve on my own. Over the months that I have worked with her I have gained some insight and I believe that I am developing skills in problem solving.
A professional coach is on the "must" list for anyone who seeks to be a life-long learner and excel in their profession.

On behalf of the Cell Life Church Council, I wanted to take a moment to say how much we appreciated the two day workshop Amy deVries led for our church leadership team. We have implemented many of the things we learned from her and have seen a marked difference in our teams interactions and effectiveness. She very adeptly lead us through difficult discussion topics that allowed us to not only understand each other but also how to communicate better with each other and achieve common goals more quickly and with more success.
