FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I generally offer flat-rate quotes for services, there are occasions where adjustments are necessary. I often offer special pricing to those in need, who are generally of limited means, or are otherwise at risk. - Helping others is very important to me, and so I do what I can to help as many people as I can. In other matters, there are certain other factors which can affect pricing. - I operate out of the Whatcom County - Washington area, and generally only take clients for in-person services as far south as Vancouver WA, and as far North at Blaine - WA, depending on the distance I must travel to perform the services for which I have accepted a Commission; the price will be adjusted to reflect mileage and additional time required to complete the Commission. - Additionally, services which are greater in complexity, or require a greater time requirement, either in the form of multiple visitations, or with an extended on-site time requirement with carry a larger cost than those with minimal travel and time requirements. For Phone and Email-only services, my pricing is generally lower than for in-person service, and will vary slightly based upon the unique needs of my client. For some, this means a higher hourly rate, and for others this means a lower package rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always begin new relationships with an honest conversation, outlining what they envision, and in turn what I can do to help them realize that vision. Each of my clients are unique as are their needs, my process is a reflection of this reality. For wedding and similar ceremonies; I ask my clients for an outline of the format they require, nothing too specific, just the broad strokes of what is absolutely necessary. From there, we will flesh out the details to match your ideal unification. No two weddings are alike, just as no two couples are exactly alike, please also have a selection of "Dream" ideas, I enjoy making dreams come true and would love nothing more than make your dream ceremony a reality. For Life Coaching services, it helps me to learn a little bit about where it is you'd like to get to, and what you want to focus on. There are so many areas in life that can do with a second glance, and even some dedicated attention, so whether you feel you are in need of focused development and encouragement, or a more comprehensive approach is sometimes helpful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have avoided formal educational institutions for the bulk of my adult life, finding that in practice, they are in general not what they appear to be in principle. However; in the pursuit of and in support of discharging my services I have an abundance of personal life experience, and a graduate degree from the "School of Hard Knocks" - As well as "Hard Knocks University" - Life Coaching is very little to do with what school you went to, or which certificate you paid for, and much more to do with the depth and variety of life experiences and lessons you are able to share with others. As a Wedding and Ceremonial Officiant, and also as a Spiritual Counselor; I bring to bear a lifetime of study and practice in all denominations and schools, spiritual, philosophical and otherwise. In ministry, I count myself as a Para-denominational minister, serving the needs of all I tend to.
