FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first lesson is always free, to see if your style of learning fits my style of teaching. After the first lesson, if you wish to continue, pricing goes as follows: $40 for one hour, one-on-one. After that it is a $10 reduction per hour with a maximum of a three-hour session, meaning it would cost $70 (instead of $80) for a two-hour session and $90 (instead of $120) for a three-hour session. $35 for one hour of semi-private lessons, meaning I will teach two people at a time. These also come in two and three-hour sessions, same $10 reduction, with a two-hour costing $60 and a three-hour costing $75 (pricing is per person). $30 for one hour of group lessons. Group lessons are a minimum of three people and a maximum of five. Again these are offered for two or three hours, with the $10 reduction policy: $50 for two hours and $60 for three hours (pricing is per person).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I with the basics of realistic drawing (perspective and shading). As the student improves, we will move on to what he/she wishes to study: portraits/people, animals, manga, nature/landscapes, water, and/or fire.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed plenty of art instruction through high school, as well as three years of private art lessons under a professional.
