FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes I have 4 main programs: Touchstone coaching, Momentum Coaching, Total Focus Coaching and Basic Consulting. They are $495, 625, $795 and $1295 a month respectively. All packages include coaching sessions on the phone with me in addition to email and phone access to me between sessions if needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Simple --- and there are TWO answers to that, first how I start with a potential client by giving them a free session and second what I do once someone BECOMES a client. I'll outline both here. The free session: First --- We schedule a 15 minute call so I can hear from them what they are looking to accomplish. What their struggles ar3e and what kind of help they want from a coach. This allows us to decide if the type of coaching I do is the right fit for them. Second --- If we determine on the 15 minute call that we are a fit then we schedule a free 1 hour session so they can try me out as a coach. Before the session I email a coaching questionnaire for them to fill out so we can make sure to spend our time on what is important to them. Third --- at the end of the call I ask the client "do you feel this is the type of coaching you are looking for?" if the answer is "no" then no hard feelings. If the answer is "yes" I say which program would you like to do and then we get them started. I have 4 programs I offer at $495, $625, $795 or $1295 a month depending on how we work together and what we are doing. Once someone is a client: We work together and create a plan for how to get them from where they are to where they want to be. We actually lay out a 90 and 180 day plan, monthly plan and weekly plan. I do this for BOTH business and life coaching. With Business coaching of course the reason is obvious. All businesses need a clear set of goals and a timeline so that they can make sure to stay focused on the activities that will actually move the business forward. With life coaching the reason I do this is that people often say "I want to be happier, I want my relationship to be better, I want to be less affected by the trauma from my past, I'd like to be more confident." and the goals and ideas about what they want to accomplish are very general. I deeply care that my clients don't simply feel better in the moment but make real changes that make their lives better. So I have my clients to really think through "what will your life be like once you have let go of trauma, feel more confident, etc.?" We get very specific and clear on where they want to be and we make a real plan for getting them there. I often give exercises, homework etc. to help people continue to break through between sessions. Coaching is not only talking about personal challenges (although we do that of course) it is about taking action to shift things.
