I commissioned Avery from Le Voute to take pictures of my dog last year - they turned out great! Considering how frantic and excited my dog can be, he managed to capture my dog's personality through action shots and also dramatic still portraits.
I commissioned him again this year for some of my own portraits. I have a speaking engagement in a few months and needed a professional cover photo - those turned out great too! They don't look staged like most corporate headshots too - it had a very natural but professional finish to it, which is exactly what I wanted.
As for the experience of working with him: he's very easy and professional. I'm the type of person that hates having my picture taken, but he managed to give really helpful creative direction, which put me at ease at the same time.
Other great things: once you book, he contacts you to talk about the look/ feel you want, he then scouts locations *before* your shoot to make sure you get the perfect shot and that no time (and money) is wasted on the day of, and after the shoot, he gives you really quality options which are edited according to the "look" you agreed upon. He also takes some liberties and edits photos to give it a different feel - which I appreciate as it gives his creative, professional POV that I probably would not have considered.
Absolutely worth every penny. I highly recommend - would definitely book again!
