FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price for catering events over 30 guests I price the menu per person. Staff and rentals are additional. For under 30 guests I charge $100/hour for myself and an assistant. We purchase the food and you simply reimburse us. For private classes I charge $75/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to hear what my clients are looking for and then make suggestions based on my years of experience. There are many things that go into catering a party that only experience can bring to the game. We have the experience to know how to make your party effortless and memorable. When I teach cooking I focus on skills that will make you a better and more inspired cook. Everyone who works with me tells me they can't wait for their next opportunity to cook and try what they have learned.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught chef and learned from the school of hard knocks. I have built several successful restaurants up from scratch and owned one of the premier catering companies in the NY Metro area for many years. I am well versed in current food trends and wine and happy to share.
