I have known Chef Detrick or "(DJ) for a long time. When he first cooked for me I knew he was destined for greatness. His food is awesome and his staff is friendly and professional. Everything I wanted they created and did so to our liking. I would most definitely hire him again! Thank you!

They have a lot to improve...I will not use or refer them to anyone. My initial experience was good Bre, was quite friendly and seem to know what she was doing (based on the initial conversation). Date of the event was unprofessional, one food item (twice baked potatoes) were COLD. Presentation missed the mark. Food arrived in aluminum pans wrapped with foil. No sternas, no dressing for the salad, no utensils to use to get the food; she bought in two gallons of drinks not in dispensers left them on the table. I called her back about the blessing she apologized for not bringing it. Bre returned to the event with spoons to use to get the food and salad dressing, we expressed our concerns and she apologized to us then addressed the group of people. (That was impressive). She explained she is a small & up coming company. That's cool but they really missed the mark. She said she'll compensate some of our money and will call me the following day. As I am writing this review two days later, we have not heard from her nor the Chef at SilverSpoon Catering. It's unfortunate that their not where they should be with the catering but perhaps they will one day. Bad experience and will not recommend them.

Silver Spoon Catering is operated by a lovely husband and wife team. They did a phenomenal job with catering our clinic's open house event after being requested at relatively short notice. Detrick and his wife stayed to make sure everything ran smoothly and even helped bar-tend. The food was great and our guests loved it! We will definitely do business with them in the future.

My prices are fair in this market. I do this because its my passion and I love meeting new people. Prices vary based upon what each client wants.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typjcal process is to speak with my clients via phone or face to face. This allows me to get a clear picture of what my client wants. As well as establish a great rapport.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Culinary Arts degree after graduating from Lawson State Community College. My education can be attributed to world renowned Chef Clayton Sherrod. He along with my other Chef instructors are my mentors.
