We are very pleased with the work done for us by Muncey and Son's. From the initial free inspection thru to the completion of all the repairs and new roof, it was easily less than a week to have it all done and to our satisfaction. We were very impressed that the new roof itself was installed in less than a day. Mr Muncey worked with us and our schedule and delivered on the work that was needed. If you have had recent storm damage to your roof do yourself a favor and call Muncey and Sons and let them take care of your home just like we did. Quality work done very efficiently.

During the storm last week our roof leaked. We were concerned but reluctant to look into it: dreading the hours on the phone, the paperwork, the appraisal costs, and wrestling with insurance, which we assumed would probably not pay for repairs.
Then a Muncey and Sons representative knocks on our door and offered us a free roof inspection, specifically looking for damage that can be filed with insurance at no cost to us. Of course we said yes. Tim Muncey was there quickly and worked efficiently and professionally.
He didn't try for half measures or beating around the bush, but told us specifically and honestly that the hail damage from the outside wasn't extensive enough for insurance to cover. He then asked to look inside. Fortunately for us and our new roof, the leakage inside qualified us, in Tim's opinion, to a new roof from our insurance company.
A knowledgeable, professional, helpful representative from Muncey and Sons immediately talked us through their company's process: they would call and deal with the insurance company and handle everything for us. If the insurance company wouldn't fully cover costs (except deductible) on the roof then we owed Muncey and Sons nothing.
And that's exactly what they did. I confirmed my identity to an insurance representative on the phone and Muncy and Sons did the rest. My insurance agent called to schedule a roof inspection and I texted Muncy and Sons and Tim came out again to point out the damage to the insurance inspector and handle negotiations. After less than ten minutes the insurance agent told me they would pay for a new roof, briefly spoke to Tim, and that was that!
Muncey and Sons has been professional, personal, honest, and helpful. They were always prompt in answering my questions and easy to contact. They have been a pleasure to work with and I would strongly recommend their services to anyone needing work done. We are hiring them to do other improvements on our home.
