- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to answer a few questionnaires. This helps me get a sense of who you are, what your goals are, your daily eating habits, likes & dislikes, as well as any other pertinent information that I need. Then, I create a personalized plan based on the information from step one. My goal is to always complete the process within 7 days (typically sooner though). Once you start to follow the plan, I will check in at set time intervals to monitor your progress and answer any questions you may have. We also may make modifications to the original plan as time passes.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with both men and women, ranging from early 20s to late 60s. My clients come from diverse backgrounds with varied lifestyles and goals -- vegetarians; want to lose weight; want to build muscle; preparing for an event in 4 weeks time; want to learn how to prep all meals the weekend before; etc. Additionally, some of my clients preferred more flexibility in their plan, so we worked on establishing guidelines and setting boundaries for them to follow when making meal choices.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I started working with a client recently (a male) who wanted to gain muscle while losing body fat. However, he wasn't eating enough each day to support the desired muscle growth. So we gradually increased his calorie intake & made sure to make smart choices about both what and when he was eating. It made a huge difference in his energy levels and his workouts have been much more productive! So we are simultaneously building more muscle while reducing his body fat percentage, using a slow and steady approach.
