I needed someone to look at my inground pool because I was loosing a lot of water. I also had no air pressure on my gauge and a couple of large rocks that had fell in bottom of pool. His first visit he checked all my top lines for a leak, I had none. So he told me I needed to drain my pool so he could get to bottom drain. He also told me that I could have a hole in my vinyl liner where the big rock had fell. He said he could patch it if there was that he had a piece of vinyl that would match mine. So I drained my pool and set it up with him to come air check the main drain for leaks. We set up for 8:00 a.m and I had told him that no one would be there. But I was sick that day and stayed home from work. He was not there at 8 so I texted him and let him know I was home. He texted he was on his way. He arrived at 8:20. But I do not feel he was prepared for the job. Who would come to do a job, where you knew you were going into a vinyl inground pool and wear your everyday shoes into my pool. Was not pleased with that at all, how do I know that his boots were not putting holes in my liner. He did check my main drain and it did have a leak so he capped it off. We had already removed the rocks ourselves from the pool, but there was about a 2 inch hole in my liner. So he patched it but not with the same vinyl that he had told me he had. He used something else and did not clean the area before patching it. So now I have a dirty looking patch that does not match on my liner. There were several wrinkles in my liner from draining the pool all the way, he said they would come out once we filled the pool back up, but that didn't happen, I have several wrinkles in the short end of my pool now. He walked out of my pool area at exactly 9:20 (I know because I looked at my phone) and went to his truck to make out bill. He then charged me for 1 1/2 hours of work and $10 for the patch. He was only there for 1 hour!! I paid the bill and knew I would not be calling him again. For one thing if you want my business you will be there when you are scheduled to be there my time is important too and then don't charge me for time that you weren't there. The pool is now full and holding water but I still have no pressure on my gauge.

As for time charged, drive time is part of the hourly rate. I did find and fixed the problem and they did not call back to let me know the pool was full as I asked. As for the patch, the pool liner had water under it and used clear patch to seal the leak. I find it despicable for some to lie. The problems was fixed and they only had to pay $175.00 To have all the lines tested and 2 leaks stopped. They did not have a pool heater and water temperature was 45*. No one would get into a pool that's not heated in winter.

Yes. For weekly pool cleaning- brush, skim, empty basket(S), vacuum when needed, check water quality, backwash filter.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get to know the equipment they have and check everything over for functionality. Most of all, get to know what the customer expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years working with water quality. I studied micro biology @ OSU, then worked for city/State in water purification field. Pool building & service for local business until it was sold. Started my business at that time.
