Introduction: Thank you for your interest! As a Certified Positive Psychology Coach, I use the researched interventions found in field of positive psychology to help support women in creating fulfilling lives at home and at work. My areas of specialty are self-esteem and motivation- I'll help you identify what really lights you up and to build the confidence required to create the life and/or relationship you want by clarifying your values, identifying your strengths, and aligning these with what you desire. I use music and art as tools, I employee techniques such as mindfulness practice, and glean from various spiritual traditions that offer solutions in the areas of dispelling false belief, overcoming fear and living in alignment with one's true, magnificent self. I am extremely passionate about helping women succeed and create their definition of success. I help them own their power and transform their lives and relationships. I take a whole-person approach to well-being, and offer my clients the opportunity to address every important area of their lives- spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational and emotional. I also really love learning and enjoy doing research and keeping up with valuable findings about habits, transformation, love, and happiness that will help my clients grow and improve their lives.

Going to a life coach wasn't something I ever thought I would do. As a successful business owner I feel confident, self motivated and love to challenge myself. I found myself feeling frustrated and confused when I began to procrastinate - for a year - on a professional project I really wanted to do. It made no sense to me. When I want to do something I typically would just do it or at the least, try. Not this time. For whatever reason I kept procrastinating and doing literally anything else during the time I set aside for the project. I have friends who have worked with coaches with great success so I reached out to Dara. I was drawn to her unique positive success coaching style and philosophy. It was the best decision I could have made. Not only did I make strides on the project, I ended up learning so much more about myself than I anticipated through her sessions, strategies and insightful recommendations. After only a handful of coach sessions I was able to begin the project and am now equipped with tools to embrace these types of struggles in the future. My advice - don't wait a year like I did! I manage a team of 6 different personalities and I'm the sort that reads everything I can to 'be at my best' as a leader. I sought Dara out because there wasn't a book available that offered what she was projecting. She offered me crystal clear insights into how to optimize my approach to the challenges I was facing, that were particular to me. It felt so good to talk to her about my situation because no matter how personal or unique I thought it was, she enabled me to reorganize, reassess, and re-plan. Like a therapist for my professional struggles! I honestly can't think of some constructive criticism here. Well, I wish I could hire her full-time to help with my entire team but she seems pretty determined to help other people too. Give her that chance, you won't be disappointed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have several options for pricing, which include pay-as-you-go per session prices, 4-session package prices, and 6-session package prices. My clients tend to progress very quickly so it's rare I work with someone for more than 4-8 weeks. For clients who work with me longer, prices per session are significantly reduced.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a complimentary "jump start session" during which clients have the opportunity to ask questions and to get a feel for how I coach. After that, I typically work with a client for 4-8 sessions, depending on their goals and needs. Occasionally a client with work with me longer. I assign homework and am often in touch in between sessions, sharing resources and support via email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified Coach trained in Positive Psychology Coaching and Motivational Interviewing. I have a background in the healing arts and natural health and nutrition. I also study spiritual traditions and their offerings in the areas of change and transformation, the teachings of A Course in Miracles, the methods of known coaches such as Tony Robbins and Marie Forleo, and leadership and business culture development. I am an insatiable learner who is always continuing my education by researching and studying what is currently understood about making lasting changes, forming healthy new habits, creating more happiness, and functioning well in relationships. I am deeply passionate about helping people reclaim their true selves and their power, develop healthy lifestyles, and correct struggles in primary relationships.
